About the Author

Our Bible study group tried to use this book as a preparation for Easter. It's better as individual study, because we didn't find much to discuss.
This was my first NT Wright book. This simple daily devotional takes you through Luke and into Acts the week after Easter. Every day there's a reading, a section where you try to insert yourself into the text, and a short prayer. Wholeheartedly recommended.
It is a good way to remind us aware of the journey of our Savior. His life from it's beginning, to the cross and to the right had of our Father. All this, for us!!

The guidance and commentary are great. This was a very insightful addition to my Bible study.
Lent for Every is well and simply written. If read during Lent it evokes the Christian spirit and heart. I found myself wanting to be more Christ-like in my actions and thought.My church had recommended Lent for Everyone as reading material during Lent, and organized groups to discuss book. This is an excellent day by day devotional for Lent. I downloaded it on Kindle. N.T. Wright is one, if not the top, New Testament Scholar in the world today. He has the ability to write in "laymen's" language and speak deep truth in a person's heart through his comments on each passage. He also gives you something to think about or do at the end of each short devotional.
I really enjoy N.T. Wright's clear and faithful writing. Takes you through Lent with a daily devotional, including scripture reading (not just a reference), commentary, and daily prayer.
